WHAT is Affiliate Marketing and HOW Does it Work For Beginners!

If you're new to this channel let me just give you guys a quick background about me. My name is Odi go by ODi
Productions on YouTube. I have about 33,000 subscribers right now. And a little over ten million views.

So I am a full-time entrepreneur
and affiliate marketer. And two years ago I
actually dropped out of the most applied to school on the planet and my dream school, UCLA. With a 3.5 GPA my senior year in order to pursue entrepreneurship
and online business. Thankfully I found affiliate marketing which has given me the
lifestyle of my dreams today just two years later.

I live in my dream apartment
here in downtown Chicago. You guys want to peep the view. Peep the view for a second right here. Do a little pan, nice and easy.

And every single day I get to drive my dream car which is a
custom Porsche 911 Turbo. Which I'm gonna put some
clips or something right here. But anyways let's get on with the video. I want to teach you guys
what affiliate marketing is.

So I'm going to show you guys the basics and fundamentals. Just explain how it works and I'm going to hop into my computer actually. And show you guys some real examples and show you step by step how people are using affiliate marketing these days to make money online. And trust me when I say this, everyone does affiliate marketing.

Literally everyone. All the famous YouTubers,
all the tech reviewers, people on Instagram, all
those fitness people. Big companies like Uber, Lyft. Blogs like Smart Passive Income.

And even small food
blogs, "small" food blogs do affiliate marketing. So, let's just hop into
the computer so I can give you guys an actual click by click, step-by-step on how affiliate marketing works and what it is. Alright let's get into it. Alright so we have
transported inside of my computer using a little
technology called Magic.

And now I'm going to show you guys step-by-step some real world examples of how affiliate marketing works and how it is used in the real world. But just to get things started, a basic description at its core of affiliate is that it is
just referrals, okay. So affiliate marketing
it's kind of a fancy term for just referrals. It's basically referring
people to products and services of companies
that are not your own and then receiving commission if those people sign up or take
action upon your referral.

Usually through a link. So just to give you guys
a quick, quick example. So this is my video. It's a review of a very popular headphone called the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, which I actually have right here.

It looks a little different from the video because I put some skins on them. But basically you guys
can see 300,000 views. And if you scroll down to the description, the first thing you see
here is an Amazon link. And you guys as long as
you weren't born yesterday, if you watch any sort of
tech review on YouTube, you're gonna see Amazon
links or some sort of funny looking links in description, And nine times out of ten
those are affiliate links.

And what is an affiliate link? Basically, Amazon Associates
if I just go right here, it is Amazon's affiliate program. Let's just log out of that real quick. So Amazon Associates is
Amazon's affiliate program. And as you guys can see, earn up to 10% advertising fees with a trusted e-commerce leader.

So if you join Amazon Associates which you guys can do today. It's completely free but you might need to have a website in order to get approved. Some people are able to without it. But I would have a website just in case.

Alright guys so if you log in and then you just look up products for Amazon Associates that you can promote. As you can see here we have the M50x. And all you have to do is click here, and then get link which basically is your personalized tracking link that you can include in your videos, on your website, on your landing page. And then this link is
personalized to your account.

Now what that means is it has a tracking code through cookies. Where if somebody clicks that link it's gonna be tracked back to you. And for Amazon Associates at least, if somebody buys anything from Amazon, not just the product
which is the headphones. If they buy anything within 24 hours, you receive a percentage
of the commission.

Now, the commission ranges. It definitely ranges based
on the product category. It can range from 4 up to 10%. So if I just look up
Amazon Associates rates then we can actually see each specific product category and how much they pay.

So let's just look down. If we scroll down here you guys can see there are a fixed rate for each product on that you sell. So if you sell something from
let's say in the PC category. So this could be computers, laptops, DVDs, Blu-ray, et cetera.

You get 2.5% Of that sale. So if you sell a laptop for $1,000, you will receive 25 bucks basically. So basically 2.5% Right there. So that's how it works at its core.

Amazon Associates is the largest in terms of affiliate programs because it just has the widest range of products. But there are many sort
of affiliate networks that have more exclusive offers with the companies and with the products that may yield you a higher
percentage of commission. So this is just a quick example right here of how people do it on YouTube. I'm gonna move on to the
next example which is blogs.

And my favorite affiliate marketing blog is smartpassiveincome.Com. It's created by a guy named
Pat Flynn who is awesome. He has an awesome podcast that
you guys should check out. But basically Pat's been crushing it with affiliate marketing for as long as I've been in the game basically.

And if you look at this, this is his income reports. And as you can see two mill
during the last 12 months. It's insane. These numbers are crazy.

Six figures a month. Six figures a month when a lot of people are trying to strive
for six figures a year, this guy's making six
figures every single month. And it's just insane. But basically if you scroll down.

If I just choose the latest income report. So we'll do August 2017. I just scroll down and I'll show you guys that he actually is transparent enough to share his affiliate marketing earnings broken down by company. So as you guys can just scroll
down here you see Amazon.

He made about 600 bucks, not too bad. But if you scroll down to some of these other companies like Bluehost, you see $19,470 from a single source of affiliate marketing. So from posting links guys. Again, it's that simple, it's that easy.

It's completely passive income. Which is one of the reasons why I believe it is the best online business that anyone can take up today. So just to give you guys
a little more detail into how this works. Bluehost right here, they
are a web hosting company and it's obvious they
have an affiliate program.

Because he's earning
close to 20 grand from it. Now if we go to Bluehost's website. You guys can see right here bluehost.Com. It's web hosting.

For anyone who wants to create a website you can sign up for Bluehost right here. With WordPress or whatever. But if you scroll down to the very bottom. And now this works for most companies that have affiliate programs.

You will see affiliates
at the bottom footer. Now if you click that it will take you right into their affiliate program. And you guys can actually
see over five million paid in commissions last year alone. So as you guys can see this isn't some sort of scam or anything.

Definitely do not confuse
affiliate marketing with network marketing, which is multi-level marketing, which is pyramid schemes. Affiliate marketing is not
a pyramid scheme at all. It is legit sales and commissions. So basically you're a
salesman for real companies.

You're not selling energy drinks and driving around base three series. This this is a real business right here. This right here I mean
look at this right now. Bluehost is a legit company.

They also have affiliate programs for companies like HostGator, GoDaddy. You've heard of these companies. You've seen them on TV,
you've seen them on ads. These are real companies
that were talking about.

So anyways getting back into
Bluehost's affiliate program. If you scroll down, as you guys can see, free to join as with
most affiliate programs. You guys can see how it works. Basically you have
custom banners and links just like Amazon Associates for every visitor who clicks your link and signs up within I believe a 30 day period.

Now Amazon's is only 24 hours. But for most affiliate
programs it's usually around a 30 day tracking cookie. It's between 14 days to 30 days. 60 Days, sometimes 90 days.

But 30 is the industry
average for tracking links. And Bluehost, they will give you $65 a pop for everyone who signs up through your Bluehost link. Completely free to join
just like Amazon Associates. Again, this is affiliate marketing.

It's very simple, it's very basic. But I figured I'd just
peel back the kimono and show you guys how people are really making money online behind the scenes. Now I'll give you one more example. This is Instagram.

One of my favorite YouTubers slash people that I follow on
Instagram is Maxx Chewning. Been following him
since the first few days back when he started doing the Full Day of Eating videos. Those were my favorite. Basically here is an ad.

This is for MVMT watches. And this is a little different because the thing is
with affiliate marketing is you usually have links right. But another way that you can do this, now some people call this sponsorship, it's all the same thing to me. Basically is providing coupon codes.

So as you guys can see, Maxx
has his own coupon codes. It's personalized, says, "MAXX15". You get $15 off your order at MVMT. And basically what is happening here is if you use Maxx's link, yes you get $15 off but he also gets attribution for your sale, and therefore he gets a
kickback or commission.

Now I don't know how much
he makes off the sale. I'm not a MVMT affiliate, I cannot speak on that. But it's probably somewhere
around 10, 15 bucks per sale. Which is a very nice
extra source of income considering how passive it is.

He just has to post one photo like this or make one video and he can continue to earn money off every
single sale from that video. And as you guys can see, the power of the internet, the power of scale. This has over 10,000 likes. And you can bet that
of those 10,000 likes, the chances of a few people buying a watch using his code are pretty high.

Let's be honest. It's just math at the end of the day. Marketing is a numbers game. And if you're getting 10,000 likes, you're getting 10,000 views, you're getting 10,000 clicks.

Chances are someone's buying something and you're gonna be making commission. So basically those are
all my big examples. It's very simple. I hope I can show you
guys behind the scenes of how affiliate marketing actually
works in the real world.

And how people are using it to generate large sources of side
income that is different. And it's more effective than
just doing Google AdSense. Which is just showing ads. Just for an example,
YouTube only pays two bucks for every thousand views in my experience.

Now this this changes depending on your niche or your industry. But just to put things in perspective. If Maxx sells one of
these and he makes $15, just think about the amount of views he would have to get to
make that same amount of money from one sale
of selling one watch. So really less is more.

You don't have to sell as much. You don't have to get as many views. But if you get sales
you get more commission than getting thousands
upon thousands of views. But obviously if you have both then it's a win-win for everybody.

Multiple streams of income

What is Affiliate Marketing And How Can You Leverage It

You're starting a business or you may have
one. But you don't have the money to spend on marketing. What should you do? Hey, everyone, I'm Neil Patel and today I'm
going to explain what affiliate marketing is and how you can leverage it. The cool part about affiliate marketing is
that it's performance based marketing.

If someone drives you a lead or a sale, you pay them out.
You pay them on a cost per acquisition. Acquisition can be a lead or a sale for you. You determine whatever it is. And you can even determine what you want to
pay people.

If your product sells for 500 bucks and your
margin on it is 250 - in essence you're operating at a 50% margin - and if you decide: "hey I'm
willing to pay someone a $100 for every sale they drive me" then you can offer affiliates
"Hey for every sale you drive me, I'm going to give you a $100". And they may decide that they're going to
drive these sales through SEO, Pay Per Click, Facebook advertising. Whatever it may be. And that's up to them.

That's what affiliate marketing is all about. Now there's a few things that you to know
about affiliate marketing. Number one: it's really hard to recruit affiliates. Where do you look for them right? You can't just go around the web to go find
marketers and say "hey, you want to join my affiliate program?".

Instead, you want to join networks like Clickbank.Com. So when you join these affiliates networks
and you talk to them, they'll tell you: "Hey here's your product. Here's what you should price it at for CPA. This is what you should pay people every time
they drive you a sale." And they'll make sure it's competitive and
you're not losing money.

Because the last thing you want to do is
be willing to pay someone $10 per sale when it costs them $20. Because if it costs someone $20 to drive you
a sale, they're not going to take $10. That means they're going to be losing money. Especially if you're making thousands of dollars.

They're going to be like: "no, you gotta offer more." You have to be competitive. And companies like Clickbank that offer affiliate
networks will tell you what you should price your offer at. There's other ones too, like another site
that I use is JVZoo. JVZoo is also another place that you go to
recruit affiliates.

In addition to that, you can also go to conferences
like Affiliate Summit. Affiliate Summit or Affiliate World are really
big affiliate conferences where all these marketers go and they're looking for new offers
to promote. So go there and you'll find people who'll
be willing to promote your offers and these conferences even teach you how to price your
product, what to sell it for, what to give affiliates to incentivise them etc. The second thing you need to do to continually
optimise your own website.

If people are driving traffic, but those visitors
aren't converting into customers, that means they're either driving irrelevant traffic,
but most affiliate marketers are good at what they do. So usually the traffic sources typically qualify
or it means that your web page isn't converting and your web page not converting is usually
the issue. So you want to run surveys. You can use Quaraloo.Com.

That's a tool that I love using and you can
ask people questions on your landing page such as: "What else would you like to see
on this page?". After you get 30 plus responses, you'll get
a really good understanding of what's wrong and you can fix those things. As you fix those things, you'll notice that
your conversions will go up. In essence, the more visitors coming to your
website come more of them will convert into sales because you're fixing the conversion.

While before you may have had over a thousand
visitors to your website and zero buy, and now it could be that after you fix the conversions,
a thousand come and ten buy. That's improving conversion rates and that's what
happens. Another tool that you should use is Crazyegg.Com
and with Crazyegg it will show you where people scroll, what they click on. It'll track the mouse movements of your visitors
and that will give you insights on what you need to change so that you can maximise your
conversion rate.

So if you do those two things, you can generate
traffic through affiliate marketing. And affiliate marketing is one of the most
powerful marketing techniques or tactics out there. Especially for businesses that don't have
a tonne of capital. Because you only pay money for sales.

And when you're paying out the money for these
sales, pay on a Net 30 basis. Because sometimes you'll get refunds or credit
card fraud. You don't want to give out payouts for people
who you're refunding. So to ensure that you're not getting ripped
off by these affiliate marketers, make sure your payouts are Net 30..

The TRUTH about Affiliate Marketing in 2018... EXPOSED

been about three weeks. If you guys are new to the channel, my name's Odi, I just turned 25 years old, I'm an entrepreneur and
basically on my channel, I teach people how to make passive income through affiliate marketing.

Alright, that's it, that's all I do, and I'm hoping to give
you guys some actionable, valuable advice today. Today this video is about my predictions for affiliate marketing in 2018. So I'm gonna give you guys
some strong predictions on the way that affiliate
marketing is headed not just as an industry, but the way that marketing in general is headed into the future. And hopefully you guys
can take this advice and if you're thinking about getting into affiliate marketing and you're not sure where it's headed or what the future of it holds, or you want some tips on
getting started today, then definitely watch this video because I'm gonna give you
guys some really helpful tips if you were to jump in today to make the most of your time and energy so you don't waste it on outdated methods that just don't work anymore in 2018.

But anyways, guys, lately I've just been enjoying life. I was in Chicago, as you guys can see, I'm in my San Diego home. But as most of you know,

So I'm gonna take you guys with me today, it's gonna be a bit of a
day in the life style vlog, and I'm also gonna mix
in those predictions throughout this video. And for anyone who's wondering, yes, I am still making four figures a day from affiliate marketing,
completely passive income. This is just one income
source, as you guys can see, pulled this up this morning, its over four figures a day, and that's just from one
of the affiliate programs that I'm a part of. So you guys do the math,
yes, I'm still the champ.

I had to get 'em, I saw

might fall apart over time. But either way, obviously it's artistic and it's part of the whole
off-white sort of style. But anyways, I'm gonna rock these today. As you guys can see, I haven't ripped off the
tags or anything like that, 'cause I was waiting to show
these bad boys on camera.

I just kinda want to drive the car more so the battery gets charged up. I'm charged up! I hope you guys can hear me okay, but my first prediction that I wanna make for affiliate marketing in 2018, is video is the future
of affiliate marketing. And I've been saying this for a while, if you guys watched my
previous videos back then, a few months ago, I preached how video and
YouTube is so powerful for affiliate marketing, and video is so powerful because it's just an easier form of
media to digest for people, and it's just popping
up everywhere, you know? I mean, like everybody
watches videos these days, and you guys see on Facebook, you guys see on, you see on Facebook, you see on Instagram, you see obviously if you're on
YouTube you guys would know. But I've been a part of YouTube for years, and I've been a quote unquote YouTuber for the better part of the last couple years.

And to be honest with you, YouTube is just so amazing
how you can get free traffic if you just are able to rank
or become a suggested video. You don't even have to
rank for certain terms, you can just become a suggested video. If you do car stuff for example, maybe one day your video's
gonna pop up next to one of the videos from
like TJ Hunt or something, I don't know, but anyways, so video marketing is really
the way to go in 2018. It's just the best form
of media to consume and you can easily sell people because it just builds trust way quicker and easier than written content does.

So that's one of the
reasons why I, personally, I love YouTube specifically
for affiliate marketing, 'cause it's so much traffic, and it's, it's just completely free. So video is the way to go if you ask me, that's my first prediction for 2018. Now my second prediction is this. As advertising costs continue to rise, and they do every single
year, that's just a fact.

Advertising costs get higher
and higher every single year, and there's nothing you can do about it. And basically what this means is you're going to be seeing less of an ROI, especially if you bank on, let's say paid ads, or you
do CPA marketing or whatever, and your business relies
on running paid traffic in order to get sales, the problem is, you're gonna
see less and less of a return in the years to come as
advertising costs increase. Now obviously if you are a Facebook ads, Google AdWords wizard, then this advice doesn't
necessarily apply to you, 'cause you're gonna continue to do well regardless of what the costs are. But for beginners and people
who are starting today, I mean, it's gonna be
harder and harder for you to see those profits, because you're gonna be
wasting a lot of your money whether you have bad targeting, whether your ads are just
not high quality yet, so many factors.

But basically the only people who are really gonna be crushing it with ads, are people who know what they're doing. So if you can study that,
if you can practice that, paid traffic is one of the best
skills that you can pick up, because basically, you
don't need a following. You don't need an audience, you literally just need to
spend money to make money. And that's why I love paid ads, because you can have zero
following and make money if you have the right ad.

So anyways, there's that, and also, all the ad
networks are cracking down on affiliate marketing. So basically what this means is, obviously if you guys do
Facebook Ads and you do AdWords, you can't just post an affiliate link and link people directly from your ad. You know what I mean? It doesn't work like that. So you have to funnel them
through a landing page, you have to funnel through
through your own website, and that brings me to another
prediction that I have.

And this is something
I've said since last year. But basically, the future
of affiliate marketing lies in branding. So branding, what am I talking about? Basically, you wanna become a company that does affiliate marketing, you don't wanna just run ads and get traffic for other websites. Because at the end of the day, basically what happens
is if you send people to other companies and other websites and they buy their products, they become a customer
of that company, not you.

They're not your customer,
they're their customer, you know what I mean? 'Cause if someone buys
something like a leash, they buy a leash from, I don't know the brands of dog leashes, but you direct them to there. Yes, you get the commission
at first but the problem is, they're gonna keep coming
back to that brand, and they don't really
care about you anymore unless you become sort of the middle man that got them there. So let's say you become the
world's number one website for dog leash reviews, okay? Now, this is different. Let's say you collect
emails on that website, and you have a lead magnet
that's something like top five leashes for dogs in 2017, something like that.

You know what I mean? So you have that lead magnet, you get people on your email list, now those people become your customers. Because it's not just you
send them to buy one leash and then they never hear from you again, now they're like, okay, this
is the source for dog leashes, I'mma come to this guy every single time, and they're gonna buy from
you every single time, and they're gonna listen
to what you have to say. So if you say brand X
is better than brand Y, they're gonna buy it from brand X. And they're gonna buy it from
you, because they trust you.

They know that you've tried
all the dog leashes out there. So that's another tip, is branding. I've always been about branding though, I've always been about
the long-term, guys. You know, short-term, it used to work for affiliate
marketing, actually.

There was a time where short-term, if you were just trying
to chase the quick cash, that actually worked
with affiliate marketing. Because before the competition was so low, and people were not as
savvy with the internet. So they'd see an ad, you know what I mean? Pop ups and stuff, that
stuff used to work before. Can you believe that, guys? You know, win a free iPhone, bla bla bla, like that stuff used to work.

It doesn't work anymore, but that stuff used to work at a time. And now people are getting so savvy, they're getting so smart with it that you can't just run these ads anymore and expect to make money, it
just doesn't work like that. That's why you have to
focus on the long-term, you have to focus on building
these websites, these brands, like I just mentioned with
the dog leash example. If you become an authority,
people will trust you, and buy from you for years to come.

You know what I mean? And it's that simple, but the problem is that takes a long time, and I know a lot of people, they don't like hearing,
oh it's gonna take you, it's gonna take you years,
it's gonna take you months. Like nobody wants that, everyone
wants to make money fast. Dude, I don't believe in make money, I don't really believe
in making money easy. I do believe in making and get rich quick, I do believe that's a thing, 'cause there's people like you
and I both know on YouTube, who literally just started
doing what they're doing, they just started with online business, and all of a sudden
within less than a year, they're making hundreds
of thousands of Dollars, if not millions within a
matter of just months, right? There's people out there that
exist that have done this, and it's just the craziest thing to me.

Obviously it's not the norm, it's an
anomaly, you know what I mean? And there's a lot of fake
people out there too, who they claim to make millions, but come on, let's be honest, man. Like, just look at their lifestyle,
and it doesn't add up. You know what I mean? You look at my lifestyle,
things kinda add up. You know what I mean? So anyways, yeah, so that's what I wanted to say, is get rich quick exists, guys.

Two years ago I was at UCLA, I was just a student,
I was making peanuts. And fast forward a couple years, I'm driving a Lamborghini, a 911 Turbo, I have two homes. And it's just, it's been unreal. And that's get rich quick right there, that's relatively quick.

You know, two years to
have all this in two years? I mean, that's pretty fast. At the end of the day, guys, it really just comes down to working smart and then just having the right game plan. Alright what's up, I'm here
with my boy Daniel Hoang. You guys might know him.

What's going on, Odi's family channel?
(Odi laughing) - [Odi] How's it going, we're just talking affiliate marketing. Daniel wanted to hit me up and
just ask me some questions. We met up back in Chicago, when was that? - September. - [Odi] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

- Odi's dropping some
knowledge on me, you know? It's like the world nowadays revolves
around the internet, everything is e-commerce everything. So everyone is trying to get into the aspect of passive income, and not really working time for money, or trading time for money. Everyone wants to kind of wake up at noon and go golfing on a Tuesday like me, and while you're going golfing, you complete a round of
golf and you've made $2,000. Like that's the dream
come true for everyone.

So like, Odi has obviously
achieved that, you know? He's a guru in that aspect, so it's like as a person you
should never limit yourself to any one type of income or
any one type of expertise. So always get knowledge from brilliant individuals like Odi, so-- - (laughs) appreciate that, man. Hey, thanks for the shout
out, appreciate that a bunch. Alright guys, just got back home, and I'm here to give you guys some of my other predictions for 2018
with affiliate marketing.

So another one of my predictions is that it's only going to get bigger this year. It's gonna grow, and it's gonna grow by
a pretty large margin. And here's why. So one thing that I've
learned just kinda studying the online landscape of entrepreneurship, and then just basically being on YouTube, I'm noticing that affiliate marketing, even though it's literally one of the biggest forms of online business and it's been around for ages, it's actually not that popular.

Compared to something like Amazon FBA, and drop shipping especially, so many kids are on drop shipping, they're trying to learn Amazon. But affiliate marketing
is kinda lagging behind, and it's kinda like older
business model compared to these, and I think some of the reasons why affiliate marketing's not as popular, is because it's just not
really something that is quick to scale up, like
with Amazon FBA and Shopify, well, with drop shipping, because those forms of business,
you sell physical products. And those physical
products, they have a cost, they have expenses. And what you see when people
they share these sales numbers of 100 thousand a month, $10,000 a month, it is the sales revenue.

And really the profit is
usually lower than 50%, closer to 20%, depending
if you do drop shipping, or if you do Amazon FBA, it's usually around 20% industry average. So when you see someone say
they make $10,000 a month with one of those business models, really the profit, what they're taking home
at the end of the day after all the fees, and expenses, and advertising costs and everything, they're usually coming
home with about 2,000. So on $10,000 a month revenue, they're taking home $2,000 a month. Which is still pretty good, but it's not five figures in profit like it's made out to be.

So with affiliate marketing, at least the way that
I do it with my system, is that I don't spend
that much on advertising, but I still make four
figures a day in profits. And it doesn't sound as sexy when you make $30,000 a month in profit, well, with affiliate marketing. Because the thing is, that number with, let's say drop shipping or Amazon FBA at a 20% profit margin, you're looking at $150,000 a month. Now that sounds a lot
better, right, 150 K a month? Wouldn't you rather make
that than 30 K a month? Well, see that's one of the
reasons why I just feel that affiliate marketing's just, it doesn't create as much of a splash, especially because on YouTube, I've looked at other channels
and done the research.

And there's not really that
many affiliate marketers who are really crushing it, even though there are affiliate
marketers in the world out there that are crushing it, they're just not on YouTube. They're just not sharing
themselves on camera like I'm doing and like
a lot of these people who do drop shipping and all that do. So that's another reason, I just feel that it's, I honestly feel like affiliate marketing is sort of the underdog
in online business lately. And that's just based on,
I'm on YouTube every day, and I'm watching these videos and people love drop shipping,
everyone loves Amazon FBA.

But affiliate marketing
doesn't get that much love. But to be honest, I think
it's the most long-term. Next to Amazon FBA and
having a strong FBA brand, I think that affiliate
marketing is the longest-term business model out there,
the most sustainable, because it's literally
just referrals, you know? People are not gonna stop
referring products and services, and it's never gonna,
you know what I mean? Like people are never gonna
stop doing recommendations. And it's just gonna get bigger, and the thing is that I have
realized, is on YouTube, if you look at the biggest YouTubers, rarely do any of them actually utilize the affiliate marketing in their videos.

You know, you got step one which is put Amazon Associates links
in your description, which a lot of people are doing. But there's so many
big YouTubers out there who could make a killing if
they just did a little bit of affiliate marketing for their channel. But not everyone is doing it, so that's why I'm out here
to kind of share my message and just share the possibilities that are outside the world of
making revenue from AdSense, you know what I mean? Getting two bucks for every thousand views honestly is not really
that good of a deal. But if you sell a product and
you get commission on that, and you make 15 bucks
every time you make a sale, that's a good deal, you know what I mean? 'Cause it doesn't matter if
you have a thousand views, or if you have one million views, sales is what matters
at the end of the day.

So you don't need a million views to make $1,000 off a video, you
just have to sell products. So, anyways, that's one
of my other predictions, is affiliate marketing is not
really that popular right now, it's gonna get more popular rise, and with that is gonna
come more competition. And that competition is gonna do things. One, its going to make getting into certain affiliate programs
harder to get into, they're gonna be asking you for stuff like how much traffic do you get per month? What's your website, you
better have a website in 2018, if you wanna do affiliate marketing.

Unless you have a big YouTube channel or something like that. Things are gonna change,
and they're gonna be harder and harder for people to get in, and it's gonna be harder
and harder for people to make a ton of money, because I think commission
rates might go down the more people that apply, and the more that affiliate
marketing blows up, I feel like commission rates might get adjusted to get lower. 'Cause that's what Amazon Associates did. Amazon Associates back
then, what they used to do, is if you sold a certain
number of items per month, it's by tier, so if you sold
over 30 items per month, your commission rate gets bumped up to like 6.5% Or 6% overall.

So that means for all of
your items, you get 6%. And that's how it used to
be, but now it's by category. So it's just a flat rate. You could sell 300 items a month, but if you're selling
electronics or something, it's gonna be 6% flat, or 4% flat.

It's just gonna be a flat rate. And it used to be that you could make 7%, 7.5%, 8% On these products, but now with
the new commission structure or the rates in effect, it's much harder to make a ton of money on these sales. So it's tough, 'cause the rates got cut. But the good news is Amazon Associates is not the only affiliate
program out there, guys.

There's so many different
affiliate programs, and if you just do your research, you can find affiliate programs that pay more than Amazon's rates. So Amazon may pay you 4%, but there may be an
affiliate program out there that will pay you 6%, 8%. So you have to do your research, that's why you have to really dig in and dive in deep to look into the affiliate
programs and networks and stuff. So do your research, do your homework.

But yeah, so that's basically, I feel that that sums up my thoughts. Affiliate marketing's gonna get bigger, branding is the future, ad costs are gonna increase, so this form of affiliate
marketing is gonna keep dying out, it's gonna keep declining
like it already has. Just running these straight ads, they're not gonna be as effective anymore, because you're gonna be
making less money per sale, 'cause the ROI's gonna be lowered. And it's just not sustainable
for the long-term, 'cause you're not capturing your customer.

And the money is in creating that brand, and building that audience, capturing those customers,
having that email list, having those subscribers listen to you, and not the products or
companies you're promoting, but you as a person, you as a company, you as as website, you as a brand. So anyways, that sums up my thoughts. I'm obviously gonna make more videos, this was just a welcome back video, and kind of a general overview of affiliate marketing for 2018. It is still the best online
business model to follow, if you're looking for passive income, if you're looking for that
passive income lifestyle, completely passive, you
don't have to answer emails, you don't have to talk to suppliers, you don't have to send out products, you don't have to worry
about shipping, customers, refunds, complaints, anything like that.

You don't handle that, the company does, you just promote it. So that's, honestly, it's one of the best positions to be in. I think it's the best
first online business for people to follow or to start in 2018, because it's super low overhead. You don't have to pay anything
to start promoting products.

You can join Amazon Associates for free, you can create a YouTube channel for free, you can start promoting
the products for free. There's nothing to lose, so you can't say that about the
other online business models where you actually need to invest first before you start making any money. So anyways, that wraps up this video, I hope you guys enjoyed it. I'mma be cranking out more

How to Start Affiliate Marketing for Beginners - EASY!

So anyways, today the topic
of the video as you saw in the intro is I'm gonna teach you
guys how to start earning passive income with affiliate marketing, which is my main business model. And for those who don't know me, if you're new to the
channel my name is Odi, I'm 25 years old and I was born and raised in San Diego, California. Basically, if you saw in the intro that basically gave my story
how I dropped out of UCLA. I actually got a nice
little UCLA sign right here which my cousin did get me,
so that's pretty awesome.

Anyways, I dropped out of UCLA. Three years ago with a
3.5 GPA my senior year, literally was two quarters
away from graduation but I was working on
businesses on the side. In fact, I actually have my
first business right here which is recordingnow.Com which is an affiliate marketing website
where I reviewed headphones. So basically I was working
on that on the side and I got it up to a certain
level and I actually chose to drop out of school in
order to burn the boats so to speak and then pursue
entrepreneurship full-time.

Now three years later I've been able to do a lot of cool stuff. I have other videos on my channel where I talk about making money. One of them, which tells my story, I made $45,000 in a single week, one calendar year after
getting fired from my 9-5 job. So that's a really cool one to check out if you wanna
learn more about me.

But anyways, that's it and the gist so today we're gonna go
grab lunch really quick. It's not gonna take too long, and then we're gonna jump into the video. I'm gonna share with
you guys three methods that you can start, even
today, for free to start generating some passive income
through affiliate marketing. And for anyone who's
not familiar with what affiliate marketing
is, it's basically just getting money through referrals.

So like I said in the intro,
if you recommend these headphones to someone
using Amazon Associates, which is the largest affiliate
program in the world, then you will receive a commission of, I think it's about 4% on the
price of these headphones and these are about $350 so 4% of that is a pretty nice chunk
for making one sale. You don't need any products,
you don't need any inventory, you don't need to actually
have the headphones in stock, you don't need to ship them out. The company, for example Amazon takes care of all of that
for you so it's less hassle, less headaches, no customer service, and you just get a check
at the end of the day. So, pretty awesome.

Anyways we're about to
head down to the garage. We're going to be taking the
Lamborghini today because I haven't driven it in two
weeks, I've been traveling. I'll give you guys more updates
when we're in the car, so... I'm about to pick, okay so
if you're new to the channel I also daily drive a 911 Turbo
and this is the Lambo, oh-- Uh oh, okay so I know what
you guys are thinking, that the car is a rental, right? But actually, no, this is from

haven't really made an affiliate marketing video in a while and I just wanted to let you
guys know what I've been up to.

I've been doing a ton of traveling, I went from Chicago to
Orlando, back to Chicago to San Diego, up to LA, over to Orange County for some business meetings. Then I went back down to San Diego, flew to New York for a business meeting, some of you guys may have
seen that on my Instagram. I'm here with Ryan Serhant who is the star of Million
Dollar Listing: New York and also the founder of
the number one real estate brokerage team in New York City. Flew back here to San Diego
from New York so it's been pre-- Oh, and I just came back from Chicago two days ago, by the way, so I've been going all around honestly.

I've been doing a lot of business and a lot of stuff behind the scenes which is something I want to talk about because I actually just
started a new business venture that I had to keep under wraps for now but honestly, it's gonna be big. And so I'm looking forward to sharing that with you guys once it's built. just got back to the crib. I'm gonna hop into the computer, show you guys the three methods for how you can start
affiliate marketing today. It's real easy, honestly I promise you it's really not that hard to get started. The thing is, you guys just really have to take that first step, that's
the most important thing.

So anyways, before we
jump in I want to say that if you are interested
in affiliate marketing, if you are interested in
learning with sort of a road map you can join my free course
in the description below. Honestly, it cost nothing but your email. You can get started, you can
learn all of the fundamentals and get started with
affiliate marketing today. So it's a really good primer
for those who are brand new to the world of entrepreneurship
and online business, affiliate marketing, so anyways
let's begin the tutorial.

If you come here on, if you
come to my computer right now and I'm gonna show you
guys Amazon Associates which is the number one
affiliate program in the world and it's obviously by Amazon which is one of the largest companies in the world. And basically, Amazon
Associates is a program that you can join, you sign
up for it you apply for it, and it allows you to take any
product that Amazon sells, and I'll show you guys
an example in a minute, and you can basically
promote it with your links. So you put these links on your website, you can put them in the
description of your YouTube channel and if you ever watch like a
tech review, someone reviews headphones and you see an
Amazon link in the description, that I guarantee you is
an Amazon Associates link and they are earning
commission off of each product. Now, how much commission can you earn? It depends on the product category.

So for example, these are headphones and you earn a 6% commission
for selling headphones. And let me just show you
guys right now if we hop into my computer and show you guys
this is Amazon Associates. If you just search Amazon
Associates on Google, you should come into this website and you'll see that you can
earn up to 10% advertising fees. So what is an advertising fee? Basically, an advertising fee is a percentage of the
product's total cost.

So for example, these are
$350, pretty pricey I know. So these are some really good V-Moda Crossfade 2 wireless headphones. And you can actually see my
first affiliate marketing business and website, Recording Now, which I'll show you guys
later in this video. And if you sell these through
Amazon Associates you get 6%.

So six percent of $350 is $21 and honestly that's pretty good considering
that you don't have to buy the product and ship
it out and hold inventory. Basically, Amazon takes
care of everything for you. Now obviously, I had to buy these, but the thing is I already owned these before doing these videos and stuff which is my first method I
wanna share with you guys. Which is, to review products
that you already own and then promote them
via Amazon Associates.

So this is an easy easy way,
let me just show you guys a product that I have right here. This is a vacuum, it's actually
the brand is called VonHaus. It's a German brand, so you
know we got foreign everything. We got the foreign sports car,
we got the foreign vacuum.

And basically this vacuum right here, if you come to the computer
I'm gonna show you guys, so it's available off Amazon,
that's where I bought it. And let me just show you
guys the screen real quick. This is the same one and you
can see it sells for about $35, you know, same exact one, $35. And so if you join Amazon
Associates right here, these are the rates for
everything by the way.

Zoom in, and show you
guys the different rates. As you can see, headphones is
the 6% I was talking about. Now, the vacuum on the other
hand I would guess this would be considered home improvement, home? Okay 8%, so you get 8% off $35 so let's do the math real quick. So you get $2.80 For every
single vacuum you sell.

This is what it looks like when you actually sign up
for Amazon Associates. Basically, you just go right
here to this quick search and I can type in VonHaus vacuum. So you can look up any
product that Amazon sells. You click that, it's gonna
search it up, and boom you guys can see that exact
same vacuum for $35 right here.

All you have to do is get
the link, just hit that. Boom, copy and paste this
into your YouTube description or your website and from there, that's when you can start
earning commission with Amazon Associates and
from affiliate marketing. So you put that link and
if somebody clicks the link what happens is they get a cookie attached to their IP that lasts 24 hours. Now here's the cool part,
with Amazon Associates if they buy anything
within that 24 hour period you actually get commission on every single thing that's in their cart.

So it doesn't even have to be this vacuum. For example, if you were to
link these headphones right? And they're kinda pricey, so let's say that not everyone buys them. However, let's say a
customer-- They had this vacuum in their cart already and
you took them to Amazon and they're like eh, I'll
think about the headphones but I'm gonna buy the vacuum,
they decide to check out, boom you just made $2.80 From a link on your YouTube channel
or a YouTube video or from your website and you
didn't have to anything. You don't have to ship anything out, you don't have to deal
with customer service.

You basically just get $2.80. Now, that doesn't sound like
a lot of money but get this, when people rely on Google
AdSense, the problem is you only get paid roughly
$2 for every 1000 views. Now the thing is, getting thousands of views isn't exactly easy so to make $2.80 Off selling
a vacuum cleaner right here is actually a much much better
deal if you do the math. Cause, you know, if you were
to get 1000 views on a video, okay you get two bucks
and that's the end of it.

Now if you were to get 1000 views on a review of this product and
you happen to sell 10 of them right off the bat you make
over 20 bucks and to get that with Google Adsense you have
to get over 10,000 views. So now if you were to take things further and let's say you did get 10,000 views and then you sold 10 of these for every 1000 views you got or so that's when
things start to rack up and that's when affiliate marketing starts to get really exciting. So my first method, really easy, something that any of us can do today. Look around your house, look for stuff that is sold on Amazon which
is basically everything here other than this
Lamborghini and the Porche.

These sunglasses, you can
probably find them off Amazon. These were pretty expensive so these would get a really nice commission. These headphones, again, $350. You get $21 for every time
you sell one of these bad boys so you don't really need to sell too much to make hundreds of dollars.

Again, even something like a vacuum. It doesn't have to be high ticket. Now I recommend that you
promote high ticket items because obviously the
bigger the cost of something then the more commission you get, but that doesn't mean you should neglect items like this which can easily sell. They're a much easier sell, I mean $35 you know it's not really
too hard of a decision for someone to buy this
and it's a great vacuum.

This is the second one I bought, I had the same one in my Chicago place. So just look around your house, find something and review it. And when you review it, one
thing that you should do is review it using a
camera or using your phone. Honestly, phone's are so good these days, I don't know if you guys
have seen portrait mode on the iPhone X and the iPhone 8, but they take better pictures
than my big DSLRs sometimes.

And so if you guys want to,
you can also just get a tripod, get your iPhone, and start reviewing something and it's that simple. And again, it doesn't have
to be some crazy tech stuff that costs thousands of dollars, it could literally be a vacuum. So that's how you get
started for free and that's how to get started today
just as quick as possible. Now the other methods I'm
gonna share with you guys are going to be a little more intensive.

They're gonna require
a little more planning and a little more leg work
but if you do these correctly this is how you start to make the big big money with affiliate marketing. And the third method is how
I've been able to generate over $1000 profit per day from affiliate marketing specifically. So let's jump into method number two. Alright alright, so method number two let's move on to the next one.

So in the first one, you know, I said just look around your house and start to review products
that you already own. So right off the bat, I mean this vacuum, these sunglasses, this camera,
the camera he's holding, this webcam, these headphones, this mouse is specifically
only sold on Amazon, this USB hub thing also sold on Amazon, and everything that's attached to it pretty much stuff that
I bought off Amazon. So now let's go on to number two. So how do we take things a step further? So number two is another free method.

This one is taking things
a little bit further, doing a little more work by
creating an actual brand. And brands are important, and the best kind of brand is a personal brand. So we're creating a
personal brand using YouTube which is a free platform,
it doesn't cost you anything to make videos, to upload
them, it's all free. But you can create something very powerful if you build that personal brand.

For example, my YouTube
I actually transitioned from just a company which was RecordingNow.Com reviewing headphones. I actually transitioned
into ODi Productions as, you know, the entrepreneur. I started to share my
story, I went on camera and I basically would share my journey of entrepreneurship from
when I was a student at UCLA. To dropping out to working the 9-5 gig, fired from 9-5 and then finally
after years, seeing success.

Honestly, I think we all have a story and a personality that we
can share with the world. And if you do this, the plus side is that you get to build trust and a connection, a personal connection that
is not really achievable by not being an actual personal brand. If you were to just do the first method and you review these
things, you may bet lucky and you get a video that gets
tens of thousands of views which can very well happen if you're reviewing something very popular like for example this
Logitech webcam right here. But where the real money starts to come in is when you become an authority figure.

When people trust you,
because when people trust you you have influence, people
listen to what you have to say. So if I were to become an
authority and I said that these are the best headphones
of 2018 that I have tested then you guys are more
likely to buy this, right? And boom, that's $21 right there from every single sale I get
of these headphones. Now the thing is, building a personal brand is not as hard as it seems. Now I know if you're a beginner,
you're looking at this, you're looking at me, you're like hey man, I'd love to do that but
I don't have a following.

I don't have expertise, I'm
not an expert in anything. That doesn't matter, trust me guys. You guys can get started today, you don't have to be an expert. You just have to be passionate.

And you just have to share your personal thoughts on a product. So if you were to review this camera, you don't really have
to be the world's expert or like the best videographer
or photographer on the planet. You just have to be a person who's willing to give some valuable
information to the next guy and say hey, I'm a
beginner, I just started making YouTube videos,
this is the best vlogging camera that I've found on the market. Boom, right there, that's
enough to sell this camera.

You don't really have to do some crazy cinematics or anything like that. You just have to be personable, you have to develop that
connection, develop trust, and then that's when
people will buy from you. So, yeah, building that YouTube once you get to a certain point I see some YouTubers who start to implement affiliate marketing by including affiliate links from Amazon
Associates of their camera gear. Now, there's pros and cons to this.

The pro is you want to have
some sort of affiliate links in your description no
matter what company it is, Amazon's a good one, because
everyone shops on Amazon. Well, everyone that I
personally know, and if someone buys something from Amazon
then you get commission, it doesn't actually have to be the camera. It doesn't have to be what you actually linked, it can be anything else. So I've seen some people
implement that and that's like step one but if you want
to take things even further you need to create
consumer focused content.

So what does this mean? Basically, if I wanted
to sell these headphones I wouldn't just have them
on the desk and be like, oh here's a link to my headphones. I would actually be like,
hey guys, check it out. So I've owned 12 pairs of
headphones within the last two years and these are by far my
favorite Bluetooth headphones. They have perfect usability,
the sound quality is amazing.

Really tight sub bass and the Bluetooth and the battery life is excellent. You know what I mean? I would actually create a review, because a review gets people
when they're in that phase of okay, I'm gonna go
purchase a pair of headphones rather than if you're just
watching a vlog of mine and I'm just like oh yeah,
those are my headphones. You're not really likely to buy a $350 pair of headphones, right? So you wanna create
consumer focused content that really dials in when
consumers are at that purchase decision when they're
researching different products, they're comparing them,
they're looking at reviews, that's where you want
to capture your customer for the best chance of a sale. So that's number two, basically.

Implement affiliate marketing
into your personal brand, into an actual YouTube channel,
focus on these products. You know, really create a brand and become an authority in your niche in your market. I wanna give one more example
for the personal brand and in this entrepreneurship space obviously online courses
is a really big thing. Online courses is actually a
really good niche to become an affiliate for because
the commissions are so high.

Most of the commissions for
most of the online courses that I'm aware of, they
range from $100, $150, up to literally thousands
of dollars for some of the really high end courses
that cost $4000 and up. Basically, these commissions
are crazy so if you want to be able to sell
that course, the thing is-- The good news is you don't
have to be the expert because if you're someone
who is a student then you can give just as much of a valid
opinion as the next person because you're a paying customer, you bought the course, and you can give your actual valid opinion on it. And based on how you come
across and what you say in that video you can sell $1000 course and make a $400 commission,
it's happened before. I've seen it time and time again, so many people are doing it, boom.

Basically, that's an easy way
to make hundreds of dollars. If you're part of any courses right now, if you can promote the course, boom. Honestly, just do a review on it. Doesn't even have to be all
rainbows and butterflies.

You can just be completely
honest, throw it out there, who knows you might get
a sale or two or three and boom, before you know it
that's like $1000 right there. That's method number two,
let's move on to number three. We're gonna take things one step further, I'm gonna hop into the
computer and show you guys how you can actually create an
affiliate marketing business that can earn $1000 a day or more. I'm gonna show you my
actual real method, alright.

Alright guys, we have
hopped into my computer and as you see here, this is my baby. This is my first affiliate
marketing website, RecordingNow.Com, your #1
source for home recording where I focus on doing reviews. So headphones really
was the bread and butter that took this website and
business to the next level and as you guys can see here
I have actual blog posts and articles of all of the
headphone reviews that I did. So as you guys can see,
I reviewd some Beats, I reviewed Sony, Sennheiser,
Bose, Audio-Technica, Beats, et cetera, and some of these videos which are also on my YouTube channel.

So what I would do is I would
create a video on YouTube and I would also do an article
right here on my website. So this requires a second step
which is to create a website in addition to your YouTube channel because what we're trying to do with method number three is
actually create a brand. Now this brand right here, RecordingNow, this became the authority when it came to home recording and when it came
to specifically headphones. And because I reviewed
and I tested so many different headphones people
really trusted my expertise.

And to be honest, I had been
producing music for years so I really knew the solid characteristics and I knew how to describe things when it came to the world of audio. Now again, you don't have
to really be an expert you just have to know enough
to provide value to people. So for example, Beats, you
don't have to be an audio expert to be able to recommend them
to people who love hip hop. People who love bass, and who like that in your face sound
quality, you know what I mean? So really what we're
trying to do right here is we're really trying to
create that long term brand and it's important that we do this because once you become
an authority in a market then you are basically who
people turn to to get their opinion on when they are ready
to make a purchase decision.

So when someone's in the
market for headphones they're gonna be coming
to me first asking me hey, what's your opinion on
the new Sony headphones? And based on my advice, they're
either going to purchase that product or not purchase that product. So as you guys can see here,
I really built out a website and it really isn't that hard
to create a website like this. I use WordPress, which is
actually a free platform. Now, you do need web-hosting and I do have videos on my channel
showing you how to create a WordPress website from scratch.

I also had a video with a
student who I taught her how to build her first
affiliate marketing website and it's basically less
than an hour long and we go from start to finish and
we show the screen capture of us building her
website out from scratch. So you guys should check that
out if you are interested, that video just broke
over a million views. People seem to love it, so check that out if you're interested in building your first affiliate marketing website. But again, method number three is really taking things a step further and investing in things like a website, a logo, actually aiming to become that authority figure in a market or niche.

And if you do that, I promise you that you can create a very profitable website from something that
you're passionate about. Like, for me, headphones,
see I chose these not because I looked at
the market and did research and was like hey, you know what, headphones make a lot of money. No, all I did was I looked around. I was like hey, I'm into music, why don't I just share
my gift with the world? I started out with just
one pair of headphones and I move on to the next one, and the thing is people are like hey, how do you buy all those headphones? Once I got to a certain level, companies started to send
me headphones for free.

Completely free, in order to test out, in order to review and give my take on it. And because I created this brand and I made it bigger than myself and bigger than just making one video, I actually would do tens
of these review videos, and once I got to a certain point the companies started emailing me, telling me and asking me
if I could review their newest line of headphones
or their newest products. And it wasn't just headphones,
I had companies coming to me asking me to review microphones
and Bluetooth devices and just all sorts of
random stuff as well. So that's the other plus side
of affiliate marketing and creating a brand is that when
you build an asset like this companies come to you and they
start giving you free stuff.

So it's honestly a win-win, you
start to earn passive income and you get freebies, I
mean what's not to love? Basically, that's method number three, we're gonna hop out the computer, we're gonna finish up this video. How to Make $1,000+ Per DAY with Affiliate Marketing!

balling it a little bit, but as you guys can see here, oops, if I scroll here, PayPal. So over 30k in a single week,
but I'm gonna show you guys how I make over $1000
every single day profit with affiliate marketing.

with affiliate marketing.

Alright. 30,000 In just over a week. Now, if this is your
first time on the channel, my name is Odi. I go by ODI Productions.

I'm a 24 year old full time entrepreneur and affiliate marketer. Basically what I do is
affiliate marketing full-time. And as you guys saw in
that screenshot, you know, 30k in just a one week
period pretty recently. Just a couple weeks back.

The thing is, that may
seem like a crazy number for you guys if you're new to the channel, but I actually have a video
from just two or three weeks ago where I actually made over
45,000 in a single week with affiliate marketing
and a 96% profit margin. And I actually, in that
video I showed the expenses. I showed the revenue. I show the profit margin.

I show all the numbers. For anyone who's skeptical,
you can watch that. I'm not gonna do that
in this video because I don't wanna go through that again. It takes a long time.

And I already did that in one video where I made more than in this video. But basically, what I
wanna do is give you guys some direct actionable advice for anyone who's getting into affiliate marketing. I'm gonna give you some advice on how you can actually earn the big
bucks with affiliate marketing. And I'm not talking about, you know, $100 a day, $200 a day, $300 a day, which is, you know perfectly fine.

But this video is for the people who are really trying to go big. And there's plenty of videos
online already that's like how to earn $100 a day
as a broke 12 year old, you know, and stuff like that. But I'm not gonna teach
you guys how to do that. Because I, me, you know I want to really teach people who are serious about this.

I wanna teach people who are serious about affiliate marketing
and who are willing to invest their time and energy and, you know resources into
learning and growing as an affiliate marketer and entrepreneur. So, basically I'm gonna
give you guys some advice in this video on how to actually scale from zero dollars a day
to, you know $300 a day up to $1000 a day like what I do. And I actually do a bit
more than $1000 a day, if you guys do the math,
you know 30k in a week. And that's all from affiliate marketing.

Basically, before anyone
says, you know I make money from selling courses, my video
where I made 45k in a week, that was back in May and
my course only came out about a month ago, so yeah there's that. Anyways, getting a little off topic here. But, basically affiliate
marketing for anyone who's not familiar, it's basically just referring products and
services to other people. If you guys have heard of
companies like GoDaddy.

They have commercials on TV. So, domain registrar/web hosting company. If you direct people to
GoDaddy through your link as an affiliate and they
sign up through your link, you can earn upwards of 50, 75, $100 per day or per sign-up through that. And another big example
is Amazon Associates which is the biggest affiliate
program on the planet.

And obviously, Amazon's one of the largest companies on the planet. We can just go right here. Hopping into my laptop and I'll just show you guys
the Amazon Associates program for anyone who's brand new and you really have never
encountered this before. Let me just show you guys.

I would use my screen capture software, but it's a little too much for this. I just wanna show you guys a
really brief, brief overview. So, if we go right here. Let me just flip, flip the screen.

Check it out. So as you guys can see on this website, this is Amazon Associates. As you guys can see in the URL, it says affiliate program amazon. Earn up to 10% advertising fees with a trusted e-commerce leader.

So, basically the way it works is with Amazon Associates is you get links, you can look up any product
that is available on Amazon. You get a link for it and you can link it on your YouTube videos,
you website, whatever. And if somebody purchases
anything from Amazon within 24 hours from your link, you'll receive a fixed commission. Now, the commission is based on category.

It depends what you're selling. If you're selling video
games, something like 4%. If you're selling
something like headphones, like I do with my first affiliate marketing website recordingnow.Com. You sell a pair of headphones, you get 6% of the total product cost.

So, this product right
here, this V-MODA cross-fade wireless 2 and this is
the rose gold version. It's $350. If I sold one of those, 6% commission. So basically, earning over 20 bucks every time I sell one of those.

So, right there, that's an
example of affiliate marketing. And it's actually very simple, but I do notice that there's
a lot of fluff online. There's a lot of people who
claim to do affiliate marketing. They claim to do, you know
five six figures a month, but they really don't
have proof to back it up.

Whereas me, you know, if
you guys have seen any of my other videos, I mean, you know my lifestyle alone is just proof. Proof is in the pudding,
you know what I mean. So, basically, oops. Just dropped my keys.

Basically, let's get on with this video. So, let's give you some
actual advice guys on how you can earn four figures a day
with affiliate marketing. Alright, so I've decided
that in this video, I'm going to give you guys
three actionable tips and advice for how you can become successful
with affiliate marketing and you can finally break
through that threshold or that wall of not being
able to be profitable or to earn as much or to get the results that you're looking for. And instead, if you do these three things, if you start doing them today, I promise that you will start getting more results in the future.

Alright, so listen up. The first tip. The first tip with affiliate
marketing that I'm going to give you guys that is really something that you guys need to listen
to is you need to create an affiliate marketing
business and not a campaign. Alright.

Campaigns die while businesses thrive. This is a very important lesson guys. So, when a lot of people first
get into affiliate marketing, I think that they get taught or they learn this lesson that affiliate marketing
is you run some sort of Facebook ad campaign to a landing page and then you get people to
sign up, to buy a product, to go through your funnel, whatever. So that is all well and
good and that's actually how affiliate marketing
really worked back then.

Back in the day. Not saying it doesn't work today, but that's usually how
affiliate marketing used to work you know, around five years ago or before. But affiliate marketing's
a little different in 2017. People are way more skeptical these days and they're not willing to
buy stuff the first second that they land on your landing page and encounter your brand
for the first time.

The statistic is it takes a person an average of seven times,
seven times of encountering your brand or product or service before they actually
make a purchase from you. Before they actually take their wallet out and buy what you're selling. So, it's not gonna work if you, you know, you just funnel traffic
onto a landing page and expect them to buy
a 50, 100, $200 product. It just doesn't work like that.

People are way too skeptical these days. Now, the flip side is instead
of just making a bunch of campaigns and hoping that
this cold, warm traffic, whatever converts into buyers, what you need to do is create a business. You need to create a brand. Now, I'm gonna give you guys two examples of real affiliate marketing businesses that have generated anywhere from five to over six figures a month in income.

I'm gonna show you guys two
examples right now, right here. So let's go hop into my computer. Sorry I'm not using my
screen capture software, but this is gonna be real quick. So the first one as I showed
you guys earlier, RecordingNow.

This is actually one of my businesses. And here's the thing guys. A lot of people online who teach this affiliate marketing stuff, they will never show you their business or they'll never show you how they actually make money
with affiliate marketing. And the reason why is because,
well sometimes you know, well most of the time, a lot
of them don't actually earn as much as they claim to earn
from affiliate marketing.

Secondly, you know,
obviously you don't want to really reveal your
products and services because it's competition. So I understand that. But luckily for me, this is my first affiliate
marketing website and I actually have
many multiple affiliate marketing websites out there
and this is just one of them. So I can give it away
because, you know I actually have a few of these websites.

But, you know, this is just
an example to show you guys to really kind of give you guys, sorry I stubbed my toe. So this is just an
example to show you guys a real affiliate marketing business as opposed to a campaign. So if we hop back into here. This is recordingnow.Com.

It is a niche authority website
in the home recording niche. IF you guys know from my YouTube channel, I review headphones, so you guys can see this is one of my reviews right here and you guys can see that
this is a real website which I developed myself using wordpress, which is something that I'm an expert in. And you guys can see the
affiliate links right here for Amazon Associates which I
just, which I showed you guys. But yeah, so this is an
affiliate marketing website and what are the benefits of having an affiliate marketing website
versus a campaign you ask.

Basically, you're building
something that's real. You're building something that has assets. You're building something that one day may be sold as a real company. And so, when you have an
affiliate marketing website, you can actually rank on Google for terms, you know, related to your affiliate marketing
products or whatever.

And so when you're on the first page of Google for these
terms, you can continue to get traffic and get
sales and conversions for months if not years on end
after making your blog post. After, you know making
your webpage or whatever. So you're actually creating
something that can sell for you pretty much until infinity
after you've already made it. And that's the beauty
of affiliate marketing is passive income.

And the thing is affiliate
marketing isn't passive income unless you're actually, affiliate marketing isn't passive income until you have webpages
or products or services that rank on Google for high traffic, searched terms, and key words. And so that's basically
what I'm trying to teach in this lesson right here is that you need to create stuff that is gonna
pop up for months if not years to come that you don't have
to spend money towards. Because with campaigns, campaigns die. You can spend money on campaigns and, you know they can earn you an ROI.

But the problem is, if
that campaign fizzles out, if it stops working and
it does plenty of times, which is why a lot of people struggle because they're always
making new campaigns. They have to make a new campaign, you know every couple of weeks. They have to always retest and
optimize and change things. Now there's nothing wrong with that.

I love paid traffic personally and that's something that
I personally actually teach my students, but for
the sake of this lesson, long term wins over short term campaigns. Long term brands and
companies and businesses wins over any sort of short cut or any sort of get rich quick campaign or, you know 'cuz those things die out. They don't last for years. Businesses do.

So that's my first lesson. Let me show you my second
example real quick. This right here is smartpassiveincome.Com, which is actually the shirt I'm wearing. But if you guys look at

This guy is a brilliant affiliate marketer who's 100% transparent,
you know kind of like me. And basically, he actually
shares his income reports with breakdowns of where
he earns his affiliate revenue. So, if I scroll down all the way here, you guys can actually
see the income breakdown, so affiliate earnings. He earned over 52,000 from
affiliate earnings alone.

So from links on his website
smartpassiveincome.Com. This is his website. And he has links to all of
these products and services and he earns upwards of $19,000 from some of these affiliates. So pretty cool.

You guys can check it out if you want. This is one of the inspirations for how I got into affiliate marketing. So I'm really proud and happy to give some exposure to Pat Flynn. If you guys check him out,
let him know that I sent you or whatever because he's
an inspiration of mine.

But basically, those are
affiliate marketing businesses in a nutshell. They're not campaigns. In fact, Pay Flynn, he
actually didn't spend money for paid traffic until this year I think. Which is insane.

His website was all organic. And the thing is he receives
upwards of two million, three or four million hits per month, so he doesn't exactly have
to pay for paid traffic. He's lucky because, well he's not lucky, but he's fortunate enough that he gets so much organic traffic from his website and from ranking for
high volume search terms and keywords that he doesn't
really have to spend a dime for Facebook ads, for ad
words or anything like that because he gets tons
of traffic organically. So that's another way.

I personally like paid
traffic because it works for people who don't
have a following like me. My websites don't get
millions of views a month. So I unfortunately have
to pay for my traffic, but it's okay because as long as the outcome is income
then it's all good. Now, let's move on to the second tip I'm gonna give you guys today.

Alright for my second
lesson, it's very fitting that we go for a drive, so
let's go in the 911 Turbo and I'm gonna give you guys that second lesson right here, right now. (Car engine) Alright guys, so for this lesson I figure that it was fitting that we
hopped in the Porsche 911 Turbo so I can share with
you guys the second tip I have for this video. Now, that tip is called
shiny object syndrome. Now that's something
that a lot of people do and beginners do that you want
to avoid as much as possible.

Now, what is shiny object syndrome? So, let me give you guys a car example. I am in the Porsch 911
Turbo, which is my dream car. You guys saw the outside. It was pretty cool.

I did a little photo shoot yesterday. I'll throw some pictures
of that right now. But basically this is my dream car. I love it to death and
I got this car about, I wanna say three months ago
completely modded it out.

Got new wheels, got new wrap, new exhaust. Pretty much put over five figures of mods into it immediately and, you know just to give
you guys some numbers. You know, this is not to brag,
but this car is over $100,000 and now, wanna hear something funny? Tomorrow I'm actually test
driving another super car, which is a McLaren 570s. It's a 2016 2017 model and
I actually have a picture right here that, next
to my car that I posted from the dealership, if you
guys wanna look at that.

So that orange car right
there is a McLaren 570s. Kinda hard to see it. But basically, that is another
super car made by McLaren. Anyone who's into cars, you guys know this is a newer model by McLaren.

They call it the baby McLaren,
but I mean it's still over a $200,000 car and I'm
test driving it tomorrow despite me already
driving a six figure car that I love and, you
know it is my dream car, but I'm already test
driving another super car. So, you have to wonder isn't that insane. Isn't that crazy how
we as humans, you know we go from one thing to the
next and it's just crazy because I did this exact same thing when I got my first dream
car, which was an E92 M3. It was alpine white.

It was my dream car
all through high school and I was able to pick it up in 2016 when my affiliate marketing businesses, my business and my full-time
job were going well at the time and I was
able to pick that up. And I kid you not, within
three months I was already back onto auto trader
looking for new cars. And as you guys can see, just a year later I'm in a Porsche 911 Turbo and it's just insane that because you know we don't need these cars. We don't, you don't need to
be driving a $100,000 car you know, to make you happy
or anything like that.

Now it's different for auto enthusiasts. You know me, I'm a car guy. We're kind of, you know we're not really right
in the head sometimes because we love cars so much, but for, you know the
average human being you know, you can apply this lesson
to many different things and basically with affiliate
marketing, it's the same thing. And not just affiliate
marketing, but online business.

You need to avoid shiny object
syndrome as much as possible. Now, to apply this to online
business, what I mean is let's say you just got
started with entrepreneurship with online business and your first foray into this world was, let's
say, drop shipping with Shopify or maybe it was Amazon FBA, you know selling private label products. Maybe that was your first foray. So you watched some YouTube
videos and you decide that that is the route you wanna take.

You decide to, you know maybe
buy a course or something and you get into it and
you're just so in love with it and you think that you're
gonna be making millions, driving around Lamborghinis
and Ferraris in no time. And you know, six months pass by, you don't really see the
results that you thought you would get before you got into it. And, you know you hop back onto YouTube. You see someone else doing well with something like affiliate marketing.

And, you know, you decide you know what, I'm gonna do affiliate marketing instead and I'm gonna stop doing Shopify. I'm gonna stop doing drop
shipping and any of that. Sorry guys. Had to change locations real quick.

But basically, to, you
know wrap up that tip, if you are getting into online business you need to go all in because
the people who don't succeed, the people who usually don't
make it in online business are the ones who just dabble and they have one foot in the door and one foot out. Don't be that person guys. This is extremely hard to make happen. Online business is the hardest thing that I've had to do in my
life and it's extremely hard to be successful with something like this and you can't see success
if you're not 100% all in.

And you're not gonna basically if you're just giving 50% then you're not gonna get the
results that you're looking for. And if you're trying to,
you know make the big bucks and get that dream lifestyle
and get that dream car, your dream home, you're
gonna have to go 100% all in. And that doesn't matter what
business model you go after. I'm not saying affiliate
marketing is what you have to do.

Just pick a business model that you like and that fits your lifestyle. For me, I chose affiliate marketing over any of the other online
business models because it's 100% passive income if
you build it the right way. If you build it the way I do. And you don't have to do anything.

You literally receive money in your inbox. You get emails giving you
commission notifications. And I share these on my Instagram every single day by the way. If you guys wanna check

But I chose affiliate marketing. I stuck with it. I did it for years and it's
gotten me to where I am today. And it wasn't always like this guys.

I mean, when I first started
it was extremely hard. I wasn't even profitable
for the first year. But after that, you know, I learned. I got better.

And now, we're looking at
over $1,000 a day profit every single day for 2017. So, you know, you need to stick to it and you need to get
through that hard period of not seeing the results you want or not getting those
sales because one day, you know, if you stick with
it, you will get there. But it's a matter of persistence. And if you give up six months into it.

If I gave up six months into it, I wouldn't be where I am today. So, yeah, shiny object syndrome. Know what it is and avoid it at all cost because it will completely disallow you from getting the results that
you seek with online business. Alright guys, just got back from the gym.

Pretty good workout. Had some lunch and now
I'm here to share with you my third tip in this
video and this tip may be the most important tip of all
if you have aspirations of, you know making a full-time income, making over $1,000 a day profit which is by no means
an easy feat for anyone whether you're an
experienced entrepreneur. Whether you've been doing this for years or whether you're brand new
and you just started today. This tip is probably the
most important one of all.

The first two, extremely crucial. I mean creating an actual
business over a campaign and thinking long term versus short term. And then sticking to it,
going all in on your business. Those two things, extremely
important for success.

Now this third one is
absolutely crucial and you know, it's even more important today, so that tip is you need
to invest in yourself and you need to find yourself
a mentor if possible. Guys, if you're trying to make, you know hundreds of dollars
a day, thousand dollars a day, four figures a day, you
know 30k in a month profit, you're gonna need someone to help you, guide you step by step
because the thing is, it's kinda like this. Let's say you're trying
to make a cake, right. You're trying to bake a cake
and you don't use a recipe.

You have all these ingredients right. You got the ingredients, but you don't have the secret recipe. So, you get in the kitchen right. Hop in the kitchen.

You get all your ingredients together. You start chopping stuff up. You know, throwing it into a mixing bowl. And you pop it into the oven and you don't know what temperature.

You don't know how long, so you say hmm let me just do it for 150 degrees for 20 minutes. Pop it in, take it out and your cake is just a pile of goop. Now, what went wrong? The thing is, you can have
all these ingredients, right. You can have all the correct ingredients, but if you don't know how
to put it together guys, then you're not gonna get the result.

And it's like this, would you rather go in the kitchen, try a million different recipes, combinations, trial and error. Waste all those ingredients
which you can't eat. You have to keep, you know
trying again and again and again, failing and wasting money
or would you rather go with a recipe, you know from a cookbook from, let's say Chrissy Teigen or something. I don't know if she
teaches how to make cakes, but let's say you have a
Chrissy Teigen cookbook and she teaches you how to make the most delicious chocolate
cake, something like that.

Wouldn't you rather just
get it right the first time and have someone who actually, you know is an expert, gets paid for what they do, show you how to do it the
right way the first time? Because a mentor can seriously
cut your learning curve in half or so much less than that. There's people who've been doing affiliate marketing for years and they aren't making $1,000
a day, I guarantee you that. And, you know you have to be careful who you listen to online
because there's a lot of people who seem to, you know
they claim to be experts, but they don't have any proof. If they do have proof, they
don't show their expenses.

They don't show their profit margin. They just show you the revenue. You know, I've seen a
lot of these guys online. Guys and girls.

And honestly, you need to look at the facts. You need to look at does it make sense, like lifestyle. You need to look at all,
everything put together, but you know what I'm trying
to say, for me, you know I have nothing, I really,
I got nothing to hide. I'm an open book.

I've been doing this for years and, you know you ask me an
affiliate marketing question and I'm, you know I'll
give you my honest answer. But anyways, moving on. So, I made an entire video, my last video was about the reason why 99%
of beginners are gonna fail. And it's simply because
they're not willing to invest in themselves these days guys.

Too many people looking for
the path of least resistance. Looking for shortcuts. They don't wanna spend
a dime for, you know, books, education, a course, a mentor. And those people are gonna fail.

It's simple as that man. I mean, you can do this for years and not make $1,000 a day consistently. You can, you know you can
keep spinning your tires, but unless you actually
have a legit game plan that's proven to work then you're gonna be wasting your time. It's gonna be a lot of trial and error and I know because I've been there.

And it took me a long time to get here. And if there was a way for
me to cut that time in half, then, you know I would've
bought that in a heartbeat back when I first started. So, yeah, invest in a mentor. Someone who can teach you step by step how to get the results because
when you're starting out and you're selfish and you're prideful and you just think you're
the smartest person in the world and you can get into this and start making millions
instantly, then be my guest.

Go ahead and try it out. You know, I'd love to see those results, but until then, you need
to invest in yourself and you need to, you know go
into the gym as a white belt. Conor McGregor, one of
my favorite role models, he says everyday I go into
the gym as a white belt. I love that.

This guy's a world champion. He's a world champion
in two weight divisions and this guys says he goes
into the gym as a white belt. He doesn't go into the gym
thinking, you know, I'm the best, I'm the best person in the world. No one can teach me anything.

No, he has coaches. He has coaches, trainers, and
he learns from them everyday and he keeps an open mind. And you need to be the same
way when you're starting out. You need to say I am not the world's expert on affiliate marketing.

Please somebody teach me so I can learn. So I can learn and I can grow. So that's the mindset you gotta have. You have to be willing
to invest in yourself.

If you're not gonna invest in yourself then your results are gonna be lackluster. Alright guys, that wraps
up my three actionable tips for how to actually get to that next level of making $1,000 a day profit. I believe that these tips, if
you really take them to heart and you really follow through on them, it's the difference of what took me from, you know just making a
couple hundred bucks a day to that four figure a day mark
and never going back down. So, honestly you need
to listen to these tips and don't just shrug them off.

This is real, actionable advice guys. I'm telling you I started from zero to over four figures a
day and these are the tips that really really took
me to that next level. It's all about one,
creating an actual business. Not, you know, chasing, you know, the quick easy cash, easy money.

Two is definitely going all in. When I went all in with my business is when I actually started
to see those results. And three, when I invested in my education and I invested in myself and learning and then put aside my pride
and then said, you know what, I'm gonna learn from people
who've been where I am, so that they can take me
to where I wanna be today, then that is when
everything happened for me. So, hope you guys enjoyed that.
